Google Pixel 7 Pro Review: Premium Upgrades and Impressive Camera, but Battery Life Lags Behind
The Google Pixel 7 Pro has received the premium treatment with a curved edge display that is sharper, more cameras, and a bigger battery. Although the two smartphones share the same core hardware, the Pixel 7 Pro looks more upscale compared to the matte-finished Pixel 7.
Under the hood, the Pixel 7 Pro runs on Google's Tensor G2 processor, which is available in India with 12GB of RAM. The ultra-wide-angle camera has been upgraded to include autofocus, making it a dual-purpose macro camera. Additionally, the Pixel 7 Pro boasts telephoto capabilities, with up to 5X optical zoom and 30X digital zoom.
The Pixel 7 Pro delivers top-notch software performance and the smooth Pixel Android experience without any bloatware. The camera performance is also impressive, including the macro mode, which is a first for the Google Pixel lineup.
However, battery performance is not the best, as the Pixel 7 Pro only lasts for a day on a single charge. Charging speeds are also relatively slow compared to the competition.
