Google's Pixel 7: Almost on Par with the Pro
Google's latest flagship smartphone is the Pixel 7, which shares many similarities with the more expensive Pixel 7 Pro, including design, performance, and imaging quality. Despite its name, the Pixel 7 is almost on par with its pricier counterpart. Both phones feature the new Tensor G2 processor, as well as identical primary and selfie cameras.
Compared to its predecessor, the Pixel 7 has undergone minor design changes, with a slightly different matte-finished frame and camera module, rather than the polished finish of the Pixel 7 Pro. The phone's software performance is excellent, and the camera performance is equally impressive, although it lacks some of the newer features found on the ultra-wide and telephoto zoom cameras of the Pixel 7 Pro.
The Pixel 7's battery life is quite good, lasting a day and a half with casual use, including gaming and camera usage. However, the wired charging speeds are relatively slow.
